"did you come up with the slogan "keep it deep" yourself? who knew that keep rhymed with deep! tho perhaps black artists have been rhyming keep with deep since the dawn of time.
-- Ronan"
in fact i invented both the words "keep" and "deep", though i can't take credit for "it".
many black artists could have been using that phrase 2 years ago, your ass wouldn't know shit about it.

i like that you're going to try to target me now because you jump on yet another nonsense bandwagon. that shit would be funny if it wasnt so stupid.

how do you feel about "keep it deep" being used in a swimming pool context?

"how do you feel about "keep it deep" being used in a swimming pool context?
that was actually another one of the t-shirt designs i had to go with the one we made that had barry white's picture on it.

Back in January, I started watching David Lynch's avant-garde soap opera Twin Peaks. The first season of it was incredible, some of the best TV I've ever seen. The second season started off strong, but fell off. The music of the show made a particularly strong impact on me, so I decided to make a DJ mix that used music from Angelo Badalamenti's score as well as music that I thought shared thematic and stylistic similarities with Twin Peaks.
That Gum You Like is Going to Come Back in Style http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/TwinPeaks_openingshotcredits.jpg Angelo Badalamenti - Twin Peaks Theme Nico - Janitor of Lunacy Black Devil - "H" Friend Burial - Archangel Arthur Russell - You Have Did the Right Thing When You Put That Skylight In Angelo Badalamenti - Dance of the Dream Man The Walker Brothers - Fat Mama Kick Grace Jones - Warm Leatherette The Knife - Silent Shout Angelo Badalmenti - Audrey's Dance Farah - Dancing Girls [Suite 304 Demo] Can - Thief Blonde Redhead - The Dress Angelo Badalamenti - Laura Palmer's Theme

Hmmmn, I was in a phase where new music and thereby mixing it felt poisonous, but I nevertheless made this, and I'm very, very pleased. I think it might be the best mix I've made yet, undoubtedly because like over 2 weeks just planning out tracks and transitions. I'm amazed at how much cutting out 2-3 of the weaker tracks can do for a mix's overall quality. Also, this is extra special because I finally put one of my own tracks in it. I suppose putting it at the very end is kind of egotistical, but who cares, as long as it sounds right (I exported the file like 20 times just to get it to sound acceptable on my Itunes, and I don't know what it'll be like with other speakers/equalizer settings, probably nothing like what it sounds like. If wouldn't mind getting any constructive criticism on that if anyone were to be so obliging. :) Alright, then http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/AbXy6001/march.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/AbXy6001/Image00001-1.jpg
