Really liking your top ten of the decade, Phil. Can't argue with any of those selections.

HELLBENT FOR COOKING: The Heavy Metal Cookbook, by Annick Giroux “The Morbid Chef”

Pfunkboy : The Dronelord vs The Girly Metal Daleks (Herman G. Neuname), Saturday, 19 December 2009 00:34 (fourteen years ago) link

Quite the snazzy book, I have to say. A lot of really basic recipes (come on Doro, you don't use cake mix to make a black forest!), some rather humorous, and a bunch that look really cool to try. They've done a very nice job.

the book gets 5 Skots out of 5?

Pfunkboy : The Dronelord vs The Girly Metal Daleks (Herman G. Neuname), Saturday, 19 December 2009 01:19 (fourteen years ago) link

well, i mean, it could have been some lame book filled with scott ian's meatballs and ozzy's roasted pigeon recipe or stuff like that. but seriously it would be hard to come up with a cooler list of people. (and the book idea itself is genius. totally great xmas gift for anyone even if they aren't metal fans. hope she makes tons of money off of it.)

maybe it's just the grim, frostbitten weather, but the last absu album is sounding pretty good to my ears after a disappointing few spins when it first came out.

still ain't no tara, tho.
