Although I discourage everyone (including myself, but I realize I never listen and google anyway), I have to say that Google has helped me in calming down when my daughter had pinworms. I saw'em CRAWL AROUND HER ANUS one night. After wanting to label myself the worst mother on earth, I first googled for "WORMS KIDS ANUS" and immediately found pinworms and that you can get rid of'em easily if you take a pill or syrup. I slept like a baby afterwards. lol

i think the answer on the internet to "am i pregnant" is almost always "you COULD be!"

Yeah tru esp because symptoms of early pregnancy can be about a thousand other things.

the internet made me think i had a seizure before. it was very scary because i thought i might never be able to drive or ride a bike again. then the doctor looked into my eyes and said i did not have one. i don't know how he knew.

I used to be really really bad about using the internet for convincing myself I had any number of illnesses. The most memorable of this is probably be the time I convinced myself I was HIV positive despite having no extreme risk factors but basically spent a summer thinking I was dying until I got the courage to go get tested and found out that, as I should already have known, I was -.

perhaps his years of medical training and experience gave him insights that the gloomy old scolds tapping out their alarming advice and anecdotes lack. xp

Harbl, I think it has sth to do w the positioning of your eyes. I was convinced O had seizures when she was born cause her eyes "fluttered" upwards. My pediatrician assured me the way they rolled up, was okay.

Yes I am a hypochondriac.
