The whole beats in space broadcast is highly recommended for the amount of alternate and unreleased versions played. Like the 7" promo version of "Pop Your Funk" that I've wanted to hear since reading about in the sleevenotes to "World of"

I've listened to so much Arthur Russell since I started this thread 6 years ago but I still adore this song. And it's the version on the Disco not disco cd I love most.

On a seperate note, I can't believe, how many of my old threads (2002) have been re-hashed tonight!

I've only just heard this track - the thirteen minute demo version - it's incredible! It's been on repeat for the last two hours!

Someone I know mentioned that there is an interesting story about this song (being specific: the demo I think) and I was wondering if anybody either knew it or knows of an arthur russell fanpage that could help?
