Shit I had to be pretty distracted cuz I clicked that link and got through that first paragraph without realizing it was an Onion article and I thought Rush was having a total fucking breakdown.

And the beautiful thing is, the Onion often gets mistaken for real and article in it'll do the email rounds, so here's hoping that one goes into the wilds.

Pretty sure he is dead, and has been for some time, but before he went - pills, I heard - he locked himself in his bunker for a few months and just talked, about things that had happened and things he thought would happen. Now they just edit and play his archives as needed, with the occasional impersonator subbing in when they need something really specific.

Anyway, that's what I heard.

As his bouts of tastelessness go, that's pretty mild (no yelling, at least). I'm guessing he's holding back for fear that even his own audience would push back--I'm sure Williams' appeal covered the political spectrum.

Compared to the Michael J. Fox thing a few years ago, this is definitely mild.

Still, Limbaugh's death will (and should be) a celebration.
