lobbyist-bashing is irritating. the truth is, there are lobbyists for all sorts of things including working on health care/housing for the poor and underprivileged, good environmental policy, etc., and those people can't get jobs in the administration despite the fact that they have expertise and are needed, because of this stupid talking point
