If dude is six feet from the edge and he's thinking maybe six feet ain't so far down, where is he exactly relative to the edge? Is he six feet from an edge of a six foot drop? Is the second six feet talking about the depth of his grave? If so, why did he even bother to quantify his distance from the edge? Six feet away from an edge is a fairly comfortable distance. He could probably slip on a banana peel an not fall off the edge at that distance.

Or did he just see the U2 guitarist at a party and think "I'd rather die than talk to this dude again"

Creed reconvened in early 2012 to begin work on their upcoming fifth studio album. A tour was also announced where the band would perform their first two albums, My Own Prison and Human Clay, from front to back. This tour kicked off with two shows on April 12 and 13, 2012, at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, with the band performing My Own Prison the first night and Human Clay the second. It was announced that lead singer Scott Stapp and lead guitarist Mark Tremonti would hit the studio to start recording new tunes in June.
