Thanks. I am glad that my skin has recovered - I got absolutely broiled in Cornwall last month but thankfully the burn has faded to sort of freckleyness.

i haven't been hanging out on ilx so much lately i know, so didn't post this in april, but it's from the very end of that month, so can squeeze under whatever wire. and it is hilarious. outside Twilight store in Port Angeles, Washington. i am imitating vampire dude's crazy eyes. i think i got it down.

we didn't even know Twilight stores existed! we didn't even know Twilight was filmed right in that area! it is all v weird. as we were taking photos, a pick-up truck full of teenagers drove by and one of them yelled "Twilight sucks!!" it was awesome!

Aw, thanks Laurel. <3 It's only recently that I've had the body confidence and acceptance to uncover my shoulders and upper arms like that. Ironically, because I figure, now I'm 40, no one in their right mind is going to be looking at me in a sexual way so I might as well wear what makes me comfortable in the heat.

we used to get those pools and every year someone (there were six of us) would succumb to the temptation to slyly stick a pin in it and then there would be accusations and recriminations and no more pool for the rest of the summer.
