Ron: shit yeah, I get allergic sinusitis a lot, and it can lead to swelling, bleeding and all kinds of goo. Without nasal sprays, I more or less can't breathe through my nose a lot of the time. Once, I had bad sinuses for months, and it started to clear up one day, and I blew my nose extra hard cause it felt like something was dislodging... and this hard fibrous mass the size of a pea popped out from way up in my sinus cavity and all of a sudden I could breathe totally normally.

I have no idea what that thing was though.

I apologise if anyone read this while eating. :D

I like happy endings.

i am apprehensive about using nasal sprays - most things i've read say that you'll end up worse off. yr nose becomes "addicted" to the spray and doesn't function correctly without it (?)

Yeah, before long your nose is out mugging little old ladies for the price of its next fix. Or selling itself for sex (only to men with very small penises, obv).

ha...

Eyeball Kicks' post upthread wins for disgusting. Stupidly, I was making a banana milkshake while reading it and very quickly lost my appetite.

So yeah, don't read this thread while eating. Unless you're in need of an appetite suppressant.

Dud if you do it in the car while driving really fast and hit a big pothole and wind up jamming your finger into your cerebral cortex.

(This has never actually happened to me, but I'm convinced that Fate is waiting patiently for the opportunity to make it so.)

omg my nose is dying. It's like the tap's been turned on it's running so much. I think it has something to do w/ a booger lodged pretty deep or some substantial irritant up in there, I can actually feel something in there, but I took a Clarinex at lunch and it hasn't done dicksquat. I'm at work so I don't know if I can irrigate it.

Better than picking someone else's nose
You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends' noses

My mother used to tell me that an aunt of mine kept her pinky fingernail long and manicured for the express purpose of picking her nose. I'm all for nose picking but with a long fingernail? Ewgh.

You can cut yourself that way. Uh, not that I would know.

There's so much snot in my nose that I can't risk plunging in or it might slip all the way up!

I've made up a game with all the used tissues I'm using, tossing backwards no-look stylee to see if I can get it into the trash bin behind me.

I'm a proud picker.
Picking after coking makes sense, expensive debris up there.
