A couple months back I took a weird sudden dive into the world of "hilarious" web videos, and while way too many of them seemed to involve people breaking their legs or college guys rubbing their balls on sleeping friends' faces, I was amused as hell by a few things -- best of them, in a funny/sad way, being some horrible alcoholic "wacky" weatherman falling apart over a few months' worth of broadcasts.

Yeah, that's the guy! He sobered up and got a new job in ... Grand Junction, CO. There was just something captivating about his particular conception of humor, which was simultaneously totally corny and totally guyish -- something about the total drunken confidence that he was in fact being charming and lovable. It's really kind of incredible, a live weather broadcast that feels exactly like getting trapped at a party by the worst dude possible.
