This brings back memories of how great this band once was. But then Paul Di'Anno left and they replaced him with this soft jumping and prancing man with a voice like a dog whistle. Also that dog that they keep showing in the video? I could kick that stupid crap dogs ass.

i guess i keep forgetting that it's the "top hardrock/metal songs," and not the "heaviest songs."

I loved Powerslave to death back in the day but never really explored anything else they did.

Oh no Number of the Beast is placing terribly low. That was in my top 10 I think.

It's strange, the dog in the first picture looks so nice. Completely at odds with this attitude that's on display.

I sang this song this weekend at a Rock Band 2 party at my SIL's house, it was awesome

tis a great song by a great band.

I have to say, although as a rule I care little for either metal or dogs, I LOVE YOU HENRY.

I love both metal and dogs, and I think Henry's kind of a pain in the ass. Maybe his vet will be prescribing a "mood enhancer" that will save us readers from such invective.

I saw Jane's Addiction twice when they were first together, and for all Farrell has been a dislikeable and dickheadish character in the years since, I remember him being a strange and very compelling/magnetic presence on stage back then. He def had "it" for all he lost it in the ensuing years. Kickass live band, great track, my favourite so far out of all those listed.

Didn't vote for it but it's my favourite song by them.

No, it's fine. I like WFG okay (this song better than the lower-ranked one, even), but it's not moving me me to comment. The whole "eat my shoe" comment is just because I didn't expect them to show more than once.

No-one but no-one gave a shit about Witchfinder General at the time, I guess they have retrospective kudos because they were Sabbath influenced rather than Rush or Deep Purple or whoever. I mean Tygers Of Pan Tang and Praying Mantis were way bigger around 1981 but I suspect we won't be seeing them in this poll, maybe I should have nominated Captured City.
