yeah i dunno, i mean whiney i basically agree w/you that, hey, if kanye wants to sort of leave conventional "rap" type stuff behind and go in a more "music they play in the Gap when you're buying jeans" type direction..that's cool...and could be exciting.

buuuut....like i just listened to all those tunes before my first post...i srsly now remember ZERO hooks from any of them.

even stuff that i wouldn't actually buy or spend time listening, like for example Gnarls Barkley or MGMT...when i first heard "Crazy" or that big MGMT song, it sort of instantly hits you like "wow this is a total pop hit"...seems exciting in a "lex" kinda way...these songs just seem really ploddy and the melodies aren't that memorable to me...

it's too bad cuz i LOVED his verse on "Put On" by jeezy which seems like one of his first attempts at this style, but that had such great melodies and hooks to his autotune...these seem just zzzzzzzzzz to me.

yeah "Put On" is still dope

The joint with Royce on the Black Milk is tight, but as for the rest... the production is kinda interesting, I guess, but not good enough to make up for Milk's weakness as a rapper.

last black milk was much, much better. this one is ok.
