I would like to see a picture of him, swinging it.

A bell or something, not anything else.

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:28 (nineteen years ago) link

there is a fake cozen? glasgow has adventures.

I will be here on friday, do you want to see me?

cºzen (Cozen), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:34 (nineteen years ago) link

it's sad funny that 'here' still equates with glasgow.

cºzen (Cozen), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:39 (nineteen years ago) link

I'll see you!

Cathy (Cathy), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:41 (nineteen years ago) link

if I am to go to the RAF club on friday, some things will have to happen:

a) someone will have to be gracious & offer me a bed;

b) someone will have to ordain attendance in a suit;

c) someone will have to direct me to this 'RAF club'.

cºzen (Cozen), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:45 (nineteen years ago) link

oh, and before I go: I am free from 5pm on friday.

argue amongst your selves.

cºzen (Cozen), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 18:45 (nineteen years ago) link

b) someone will have to ordain attendance in a suit;

I can take care of that one (ordination runs in the family). And I will wear one (my) here in sympathy.

Mooro (Mooro), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 19:09 (nineteen years ago) link

cºzen (Cozen), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 19:12 (nineteen years ago) link

Perhaps Alba means the RAFA club (that little A makes all the difference)

Blimey - it doesn't stop. I'm up for that, I think, maybe? I've never been to the Observatory. I've never seen Dundee, either.

Errr - RAF, RAFA, what's an A between friends? Are they nothing to do with one another? Is it like the difference between the army and the Boy's Brigade?

Cozen - you can stay here on Friday nigth as long as you don't mind an airbed and don't make a mess.

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 20:15 (nineteen years ago) link

I thought I saw cozen, in sainsbury's, earlier, but I didn't.

cozen can stay here, on friday, too.

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 20:47 (nineteen years ago) link

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 20:51 (nineteen years ago) link

I think you've just sweetened the deal, more than I am willing to.

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 20 October 2004 20:53 (nineteen years ago) link

Sweetened or spiced? (cumin)

You folk are being funny, again, on this thread. Congratulations.

Lara, it was my next editor who scotched the claims.

the bluefox, Thursday, 21 October 2004 08:07 (nineteen years ago) link

I've never been to this RAF club. Does it look like this?

Alba (Alba), Monday, 25 October 2004 16:03 (nineteen years ago) link

I have just phoned the place we were going to go last month for dinner and they again don't have a table for 8 for Saturday night. Any suggestions where else we could try?

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 08:33 (nineteen years ago) link

I am in glasgow on nov. 2nd, I will probably be available 3-5pm. it's a small window.

cºzen (Cozen), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 09:46 (nineteen years ago) link

The Konaki on Sauchiehall Street is nice, and has the advantage of being very near my house. It is Greek, but no plate-smashing I don't think. I went last Saturday night and it wasn't that busy.

Cathy (Cathy), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 15:13 (nineteen years ago) link

The Thai Fountain does cheapo and v. nice half-price food between 5 and 7, if people are up for earlier eating (I am, obviously, inviting myself out, I trust this is OK - I will be a lonely soul as the mister is off being rowdy in Morecambe this weekend).

But I like Cathy's idea too.

ailsa (ailsa), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 15:28 (nineteen years ago) link

I prefer the greeks, to the thais.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 15:37 (nineteen years ago) link
