Since I don't have a camera, these pix from elderly will have to do. Close enough, less the stickers...

Actually, that's a bloody gorgeous guitar, Kit.

Will you lend it to me for Tuesday? We're all wearing red and my guitars are all green. :-)

This is my hollowbody guitar. His name is "Less." That tiny little pickup wedged in the soundhole is one of the loudest active humbuckers I've ever played. The pickguard is the single for Van Hagar's "Black and Blue" both for weird sentimental reasons and because at the time I did that it was just one of a few seven inches in the collection who made the cut for being cut and glued to a guitar.

This is my Strat. It's black and boring, but it sounds super, and it can also be used to drive synths and the Roland guitar-to-MIDI converters cause it has that extra hexaphonic pickup in the bridge.

This is my Danelectro Mod and Squier Super-Sonic.

in the several-above pic, the Darkness prove how utterly lame they are by the use of a Power Brake on STAGE.

b mulvey, Thursday, 9 February 2006 06:55 (eighteen years ago) link

Haha, well-spotted, b mulvey.

Motorhead would never have used such a thing.

Anyway:

I should try and get some more pics taken.

Here is someone who is not me borrowing my guitar and amp.

I built the guitar, my first attempt at doing so. The finish is pig's blood.
