"Mum's cooking drives me looney,My sister is a witchMy little brother tells tales on meAnd my father's far from richThere's only one thing in this world that helps me get alongIt's when I think of Uncle Pigg and do the oink-oink song,
I just gopoo poo tinkle tinkle parp parp oinkuntil I dont feel sadpoo poo tinkle tinkle parp parp oinkand things don't seem so bad."
Phew, that took a lot of memory power.
The flexi was on Marc Riley's IN-TAPE record label, I recall.
For some reason the song remains fresher in my memory than the comic, however, other characters I remember were the one about the satanic toaster (purchased from a shopkeeper called Natas Speltbackwards), Pete's Pimple, Ed Banger (drawn by Riley), plus many strips by Tony Husband.
I still have a few unstuck stickers which came in a later issue. Like a lot of great, funny comics, it got a bit crap later on but the first year or so was spectacular. I think I got into it because I was a big fan of Marc Riley and the Creepers. In about 1986 I met Marc Riley backstage at a Creepers gig and he drew a little cartoon for me. I was thrilled at the time.

There's a blog about Oink (!) running - it's just reached the final issues: http://the-oink-blog.blogspot.co.uk/
Some great stuff there, if you're in the admittedly niche interest group. I definitely don't remember this Dave Gibbons strip:

And, niche of a niche of a niche, here's the amazing Van Hellsong stories (which I can still remember frame by frame 30 years on): http://we.tl/EJ9m76P1nu

Never thought I'd see a thread on ilx about this comic. I was obsessed with this thing back in the day. My bedroom adhorned every single pin up that they featured in the centre pages.
Will have to spend some time on that blog
