I'm beginning to feel like there's a lot of SNL parodies that I haven't been fully appreciating because I don't have cable and don't otherwise watch much TV. Had no idea, for instance, that Millionaire Matchmaker was a real show.

I have cable and get most of the references and wish they would do FEWER parodies.

Feel like the school kid skit was just an excuse to get ScarJo in a schoolgirl outfit. Hader's facial expressions keep those Hollywood Dish skits from getting as old as they otherwise would.

Oh yeah, I blocked that out completely because it is the worst ever. Also, hate that they even had to shoehorn Wiig into that.

anyone else love the Brokeback Mountain sketch at the end? shit killed me, i think i'm starting to like Vanessa Bayer.

yeah, that one and her character in the millionaire matchmaker sketch were my 'i could love you' moments with her

i never have high hopes for scarjo as a host and in comedy movies she's almost always a dud, but generally on SNL i think she does alright

Abby's got Rachel Maddow's look and facial things down, but the voice mannerisms seem a little wrong.

the only thing that skit was missing was a good denzel washington impression

on the last two shows, there were NO real "everyone stare at crazy kristin wiig" sketch - of which there's usually multiple in an episode. it's not that she wasn't around, or not even doing repeat bits, but that she was always paired with an equally nutty character so there was more going on than just her beating a bit to death by her lonesome. reakky hope this is a trend they'll continue.

I've never seen Florence perform live before, so I don't know if she's fallen prey to SNL's notoriously bad soundsystem (monitors anyone?) or if she just has no control over her voice at all...but this is DIRE.

I can't stand her music so I'm not a good judge. It always sounds shit to me.

Production sounded as bad as ever for SNL, but her voice is just not up to par with the album. Seen her perform four or five times and it is always a disappointment. Love that record though.
