Kevin Corrigan is the shit, he was great as the bowling-alley shrink in Fringe too.

And omg the fort chase was terrific.

great episode. I love conspiracy theories/political thriller type stuff, this one was great. No less then the "this is a zombie film pastiche" or "this is an action film pastiche", just less reliant on props/costumes. And Kevin Corrigan always kills it.

Annie was off-the-charts awesome in this episode, her lolling around in the hallways yelling "bleep bloop" was so defiant and unabashed.

shirley as a baby might have something to do with shirley being pregnant.

okay everything about that episode was wonderful

yeah both this and 30 rock peaked this week. kevin corrigan is a genius.

according to Dan Harmon, the stop-motion Christmas episode is going to be completely stop-motion, not just portions interspersed with live action. someone tell Perpetua so he can get a head start on complaining.

Oh I can't wait.

So I basically just rewatched the first season of Community with friends who had never seen it before and watching it again (esp from the Debate episode and onward) is somehow making me love the show even more. I love how the relationships were in that season and how they evolved perfectly into what they are today. Like the conspiracy episode really only worked because of the relationship between Annie + Jeff which took that Debate episode to shift (the show was single-mindedly about Jeff + Britta in the first half of the first season) and then the Pascal's Triangle episode to really give the payoff.

The commentaries (on every episode!) are pretty great, especially about which lines were ad-libbed. Of course, I can't remember a single example right now.

Lol @ Abed & the Farscape conversation. That happened to me at bar once with a dude who liked Bruce Springsteen. At the end of the night he asked my friend for my number. I spazzed out when she told me and she was all "Well why did you talk to him all night?"
Me: "(Shrug) I just thought he liked Bruce Springsteen!"

i dig the characters so much that i'm totally cool with the emo elements.

For two milliseconds I was scared Troy and Annie were going to kiss in her hallway, so I'm glad they didn't. (not that kisses on this show have led to anything by the time of the next episode)

Chevy messing around in the birthday cake was pretty funny, btw.

not sure how i feel about this one -- i laughed a lot, funny joeks, etc, but the whole "shirley used to be a drunk" thing felt like too big a revelation to be left hanging like that. i'm sure it'll get addressed again but idk. it's nice that they'd try to humanize her after how self-righteous she's been, but this was a pretty big and sudden drop.

this is pure conjecture but chase is known to be a total dick IRL and I wonder if the writers/show producers are taking revenge on him with what they're doing to pierce

I remember Joel McHale was on twitter talking about how cool Steve Martin was when he met him, so Joel and Dan Harmon had this joke about how they picked the wrong amigo.

i know i am the sucker we all hate for wanting things to go a bit friends but i was so disappointed nothing came of annie and troy at the door. i think that would be a hilarious storyline imo.

The little tease after last night's epiode made me so excited. I briefly felt like a kid again, anticipating the annual showing of Rudolph. I <3 this show so much and am going to be heartbroken when it gets cancelled.

i agree with this, i find i don't really enjoy watching his character very much

hard to root for annie/troy when annie/jeff have so much chemistry omg i'm a shipper

re: pierce; was wondering if chevy had injured himself again or something, thus his character being placed in the wheelchair.
