taran killam had tonight's breakout moment as "unnecessary new announcer guy on what up with that"

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:16 (thirteen years ago) link

is the cameltoe an intentional part of the comedy of this wacky new kristen wiig character or

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:19 (thirteen years ago) link

It's VERY obvious.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:20 (thirteen years ago) link

okay so this is like target lady crossed w/ "what up with that" -- it looks like i have some dishes to do!!

gimme schefter (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:20 (thirteen years ago) link

crossed with don't mess with the zohan!!

gimme schefter (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:20 (thirteen years ago) link

those dishes are piling up!

gimme schefter (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:20 (thirteen years ago) link

That was a good waste of at least two minutes that could've been filled with whatshisname as Snooki instead.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:22 (thirteen years ago) link

i'm liking this new J0rdan S. character that's obsessed with doing the dishes, very funny

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:23 (thirteen years ago) link

those dishes appear to be piled to an absurdly comical height

glengarry rick ross: "always be stunting" (m bison), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:24 (thirteen years ago) link

you & my roommates both xp

gimme schefter (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:24 (thirteen years ago) link

was part of the deal in getting deniro on that there had to be a sketch where a cast member literally wore a shirt that says "Meet the Fockers"

gimme schefter (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:27 (thirteen years ago) link

no the deal was that bobby moynihan has been wearing a "little fockers" shirt all week and refused to change out of it for the broadcast

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:30 (thirteen years ago) link

haha doing a blizzard man sketch with diddy that refers to him as "a hip hop hermit" makes me feel like this is a jay electronica parody

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:32 (thirteen years ago) link

I can't even watch DeNiro. I had to hide under a blanket. :(

congratulations (n/a), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:36 (thirteen years ago) link

its ok they didnt show the scary parts

glengarry rick ross: "always be stunting" (m bison), Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:37 (thirteen years ago) link

do dishes, hide under blanket, avoid at all costs

johnny crunch, Sunday, 5 December 2010 05:37 (thirteen years ago) link

Just a semi-obvious question: is Jay Pharoah ever going to be in a sketch where he's not doing an impression? Is he just not funny otherwise?

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 5 December 2010 06:00 (thirteen years ago) link

he's nu hammond, im gonna guess no

glengarry rick ross: "always be stunting" (m bison), Sunday, 5 December 2010 06:03 (thirteen years ago) link

he was very not funny on letterman recently. like even the stuff his characters said was dull not to mention him as himself.

rent, Sunday, 5 December 2010 06:46 (thirteen years ago) link

the more i think about, the fatal flaw of the fake Kardashians is that they shy away from the easy joke of having a male cast member play Khloe

some dude, Sunday, 5 December 2010 13:27 (thirteen years ago) link

(Khloe is the only one I think is halfway hot)

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 5 December 2010 13:32 (thirteen years ago) link

I admit that I haven't been following Diddy at all lately, but is all of his new stuff as obviously Kanye-biting as the first song he played? I mean not just musically, his awkward dancing, his set-up, everything just screamed "I really really want to be Kanye" right now.

one pretty obvious guy in the obvious (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Sunday, 5 December 2010 23:48 (thirteen years ago) link

i think even now Kanye is more of a wannabe Diddy than vice versa, although there is obviously some influence flowing in both directions. bear in mind Press Play and "Last Night" predated 808s & Heartbreak.

ITT Deadliest Choads (some dude), Monday, 6 December 2010 00:24 (thirteen years ago) link

Yeah, I have Press Play. I haven't listened to it in forever, but I don't remember a whole lot that would directly tie into 808s though. It was just funny because two minutes into his first song, before I had even said anything, my wife goes, "I thought Kanye already performed this season" very sarcastically, so it wasn't just me.

The only thing I think of when I see those Vogelcheck sketches is "everybody's going to be sick tomorrow".

Lightning Is For Babies (Johnny Fever), Sunday, 12 December 2010 04:44 (thirteen years ago) link

the only thing i think is "this isn't very funny, is it?"
