I'd be happy to curate, but we kinda need a little more interest to get all the tracks claimed first I guess.

how many are left?
i think i'm almost done with "the good go free." it's more of an interpolation/remix than a cover.
― congratulations (n/a), Sunday, 27 February 2011 20:13 (thirteen years ago) link
We're not meant to do covers, right? Cos I'm totally not wanting to do a cover.
― gnarly gnarlingtons in my life (Trayce), Sunday, 27 February 2011 20:35 (thirteen years ago) link
my idea was that if you want to do a cover, great, if you just want to "interpret" based on the title, also great.
i started the thread and was set to be the compiler, but if maresnest wants to do it i'm happy to hand over the reins.

Appropriately, the rhythms employ Ron’s signature surge and his carefully composed melodies fully integrate with a message that effectively sums up both this album and his life:"To you there is no limit, knowledge is your keyTake the route of auditing and once again be free."

btw can anyone tell what they are saying in the chorus of the song I just took ("The Way to Happiness")
(the thing that is actually supposed to BE "the way to happiness"it sounds kinda like "soul truth"??)

Oh man I missed out on this thread. I wish I could get on board, this is such a ridiculous album as source inspiration! I have heard it! It is really bad. I guess the last "Thanks for listening" track isn't really taken - I could do it. Its fucking nutso L Ron trying to be a crooner or whatever - I think the whole thing was his idea of doing like a Jackie Gleason-produced smooth pop album or something. I love how Chick Corea is always willing to throw away any shred of cred for $cientology...
