if you're willing to ~risk everythin~ a lot of these things are available via torrents and just by typing in "adventure time mediafire/rapidshare/etc/etc" into google. There's probably some law out there that says otherwise, but I really see no harm in watching something on your computer that was provided to you "for free" via your cable subscription anyway.

wish this clip had the part where marceline's dad shows up and tries to eat finn's soul... is this the family axe? did you turn it into some kind of lute?

that whole episode is great, plus the ending is my favorite punchline on the show ever. cannot identify at all with kelpolaris' inability to laugh at it. funniest ep for me might be the recent one where they descend into hell. here's the whole thing:

I can totally understand how it could be a bit much, but the whole show isn't like that.

x-post - lol I got 7 mins into that one and was all confused by the sexy elephant stuff cause she was just being cute and kinda senile up until then but all of a sudden there was lipstick and dancing and the temp him with my body line and, uh, yeah. weird! still watching . . .

I highly recommend the business time episode. Brian Posehn guests. Really genius wackiness.

That episode is so great!! This show is just so creative, love it.

here are my faves... still catching up w/ some of season 2

"Adventure Time" - the pilot, it's in the first post of the thread, and it's one of the funniest segments

season 1

"Slumber Party Panic" - zombies attack candy kingdom, finn tries to distract everyone from noticing

"The Jiggler" - finn and jake adopt a cute little thing that starts dying

"Ricardio the Heart Guy" - princess bubblegum has a new boyfriend, a sinister dude who looks like a heart

"My Two Favorite People" - jake and his gf, the korean-speaking lady rainicorn, start spending more time with finn, language barriers are overcome, quickly followed by jealousy

"Wizard" - finn and jake pass a series of tests to obtain wizard powers from a weird frog

"Evicted!" - marceline the vampire queen kicks finn and jake out of their treehouse

"What Is Life?" - to prank jake, finn builds N.E.P.T.R. (never-ending pie-throwing robot) but soon learns that playing god isn't all it's cracked up to be

"Henchman" - finn agrees to be marceline's henchman... FOR LIFE

"Dungeon" - finn enters a dungeon to prove he doesn't need jake, a xylophone-playing angel of death changes his mind

"The Duke" - finn ruins princess bubblegum's hair but blames it on the duke of nuts

season 2

"It Came from the Nightosphere" - finn releases marceline's father from the nightosphere... he is not a nice man

"Power Animal" - finn gets kidnapped by gnomes and jake can't focus long enough to save him

"To Cut a Woman's Hair" - a balding tree witch sits on jake and won't let him up until finn brings her princess hair, unfortunately when you want a lock of a girl's hair she thinks you like her ew

"Her Parents" - jake is about to meet lady rainicorn's parents when he finds out rainicorns hate dogs due to the brutal rainicorn-dog wars of yore

"The Pods" - finn takes on a quest to guard 3 magic beans but must figure out which one is evil

"The Silent King" - after proving they are unfit to govern themselves, finn becomes the king of goblins but can't stand all the royal rules

"Death in Bloom" - finn and jake kill princess bubblegum's houseplant so they travel to the underworld to request its soul back from death

Apparently Michael Deforge is doing some freelance work for Adventure Time now. I'm on my phone so I can't c/p the address, but there was an entry on the production blog with his design proposals for Tree Trunks' vomit (with the Lava Cake, Shotgun Blast, Autumn Leaves and Gentleman's Swirl).

having my childhood tempered by the accelerating ADD vibes of tartakovsky & cartoon network in the 90's, there is absolutely no way i can't be enamored with adventure time. reg show & flapjack. is there anything else sublime, weird or great i should be looking for? did that paperrad show ever pan out on cn?

Oh, I saw that for the first time this week. Seemed a bit light on narrative, but the lights and sounds broke my brain.

it's only been on for 2 weeks, not gonna judge it too harshly, curious to see where it's gonna go
