About two years ago my friend made a mix after his mom purportedly said she wanted "music with a good beat to listen to in the car." With the idea of a what a middle ago woman would enjoy while driving a minivan, I made a disco mix. This is the sequel to that mix.

Goes from 100 - 128 BPM for the duration of a CDR; principally disco with a smang of r n'b for flavour.

i made a mix recently too, but didn't get very fancy with mixing. i just played tracks i like to play if i play out. and used lotsa vinyl.

can i just BUMP my last mix?

would love a little feedback on my first foray into uk bass

I just finished listening to it, and quite liked it. I found it a big step up from the last mix of yours I listened to (I forget what it was called, but it was straight 4/4 and had levon vincent and kyle hall on it), both in terms of mixing and tracks. The transitions were smooth and the sequencing was good, it was no problem listening to it for 80 minutes. If I can proffer any criticism it may be that by the last third I felt like there was a lot of tension that had been built up but which I felt was left not fully satisfied until the cosmin TRG track (or whichever track that - to great effect - samples the twilight zone theme). By this I mean that I feel like, after and hour, the pace could have been kicked up a bit more. Of course, I personally have a penchant for mixes that follow over the top, grand arching narratives (this is what you get when you start making mixes that span nearly 30 bpm in 75 minutes :| ).

Anyways, my thanks are to you for this fine mix.

This is, for me, a Very Special Mix, because it marks my first attempt at making a mix out of my own productions. After the last 6 and a half years of dicking around on FL studio 4, on a computer that is now 11 years old, I finally have a proper document of that dicking around. (mostly techno and house, some dubstep, and some more downtempo stuff).

I would very much appreciate any and all feedback, though I can't guarantee it won't be all trite, unoriginal and awful. But yes, that is a careless whisper sample.
