if he were my kid he'd get a bath (I don't care what time of day it is, I said a bath) and 20 extra hours of tapdancing drills, end of story.

No. Double chin is only adding to hatefulness of his smug fat face and all its attention-demanding infant behaviors. My guess is indulged, unhealthily fed, inconsistently parented, laughed at and encouraged for all the wrong things.

What exactly is the trigger that's making me hate him so much? It's something about the deliberateness of the attention-demanding but that's not all.

Is it the deviance of the face-smearing, the feeling that it should be distasteful to a socialized person and he's either THAT ill-socialized or THAT desiring of being a spectacle by any means necessary?

xp I can't! Because I went through a solid decade in which I considered red hair MORE attractive than other kinds. Now it has kind of stopped mattering because guys in my age range are crossing threshold into bald/grey, but there was a time....
