ok explicate here lol xp
i compared him to pill & wale in that they're all generically "good", sometimes better, sometime worse. i guess that might be boring to some ppl, but it doesn't have to be. he doesn't strike me as anything special tho. he's never been the best part of anything that i've heard him on.
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 27 July 2011 02:41 (twelve years ago) link
you could throw, like, alley boy in that same group too
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 27 July 2011 02:43 (twelve years ago) link
i don't know if Wale belongs in the generic-but-boringly-good category, dude is pretty much awful more often than not
― some dude, Wednesday, 27 July 2011 03:02 (twelve years ago) link
hmmm "flexin" is really good -- kinda reminds me of the "grove st party" end of luger beats

chorus is just hilarious

Yeah been blasting it a lot over the last 3 days or so. It sounds cleaner production wise to me. 'drugs' and 'lost' are great. 'stupid remix' as well obviously.

I've only heard/seen the youtubez on this thread, most of which seemed allright but the beats didn't really grab me. but I dug that one. y'know, I like that funk shit.

First time I've listened to rap radio in a year or two and its like .... Otis, roll up, novacane. This station used to play "ay bay bay" every hour on the hour
― Gatsby was a success, in the end, wasn't he? (D-40), Saturday, 30 July 2011 15:54 (twelve years ago) link
though i don't click on all the specifics, i certainly understand the meaning therewelcome to getting older
― generous doler out of lollies (forksclovetofu), Saturday, 30 July 2011 15:57 (twelve years ago) link
Well, I mean, I like those songs, except for otis. It just feels like theres been a p radical break in the type of rap that gets played
Ahp they played the hustle hard g mix after so maybe not
