I've read some stuff from Rick Rubin re:Wandering Spirit, and that's basically what he wanted to do for him on that album. They went as far as cutting a bunch of still-unreleased blues songs w/The Red Devils backing him up, but Jagger vetoed them in favor of stuff he was more "into".

That SuperHeavy vid is exceptionally poor.

and Wandering Spirit is his best solo record cuz it sounds the most Stonesy.
