David Cameron was on hand to open the new Freeland Village Hall after a two-year, £500,000 campaign yesterday afternoon.

xps I mean, I keep hearing much wishful thinking from people about those two (often from LDs and tories funnily enough) but really, it's going to take something else to get rid of them. In fairness Visit Britain has been doing stuff like this for years, but spending over half a million pounds on the brilliant conclusion that you should make the word 'GREAT' really big and put the word 'Britain' a bit smaller underneath it is the sort of thing that the last government would have been slaughtered for, rightly, on the grounds that it's a ridiculous waste of money.
