acoustic ragas - s/d

Vishwa Mohan Bhatt plays mostly trad ragas on a slide guitar-like instrument, i think of his own design.

hmm, yeah he did that record w/ ry cooder right? that's a nice one. i should check more of his stuff out.

Is anyone reissuing Basho's LPs?

i don't think so. there are a few on CD, though thoae may be out of print now.

this bill plummer reissue is the bomb

it's a little less "acoustic raga" and a little more "far-out swinging sitar sounds" but WHATEVER

picked this up (along with other 'get on down' stuff), and its spot on.
loving the replica gatefold packaging with the inner sleeve for the cd.
as for the music, well its a mixed bag most of it excellent, however, this is the best track :

You guys should listen to the new Central Living (Steve Gunn) album on Blackest Rainbow. Great colab with some other dude I've never heard of. Its pretty great. I should post this in the rolling drone thread as well
