Liquid Sky really made a strong impression on me as a kid. I think it was mostly the combination of trippy fluorescent visuals, strange synthesized music, and boobs.

Miss Lana Rebel - All I Need
Lydia Loveless - Indestructible Machine. This might be the best country album I've heard all year, if not the best album. She's like a more convincing Miranda Lambert and writes funny songs about Steve Earle.
