I’m feeling bad for Shaq these days.

after 4 titles with two different teams? screw that.
In a few years you're going to be able to tell people you got pulled over by Shaq.

Oh no, that’s not what I’m saying at all. Shaq has long ago cemented his place in the Hall of Fame but as a fan its rough watching him struggle. He can barely dunk now!
He needs to retire and entertain me on Inside the NBA.

yea he's nearing the end of his career....but all good things come to an end. he'll be commentating before long, no worries!

Me, too. But O'Neal did the (nearly) impossible, by delivering a title to the Heat. We're the first NBA expansion team from that year to win a title, and we wouldn't have done it without him (all apologies to the great D. Wade). O'Neal is an all-time great, so don't feel too badly.
Terrible rapper and actor, tho.

What the fuck is a tallum? You sure you got that lyric right, BoJaxOD?
― Whiney G. Weingarten, Thursday, 3 January 2008 06:09 (sixteen years ago) link
good to see some (hoops) love, like most laker fans I still pulled for him when he left and it's sad to see him breaking down these days. I remember his singles as pleasantly average, without really remembering them too well at all.
― tremendoid, Thursday, 3 January 2008 06:17 (sixteen years ago) link
Oh yes, it's right. He was actually rhyming it with "Basketballums".
I'm not even kidding.

I saw Shaq in Atlanta this week--he was here to give out toys to kids, probably some other things too. He is literally the largest human I have ever seen. Pretty chill, too. Retirement seems to agree with him.
