Where does Rex Grossman rank historically among Superbowl QBs?

I think that through the 3rd quarter Rex was having a pretty okay game. There were some bad drops, and the Colts defense was great. But in the 4th quarter, the dude was an abortion.

They have Adrian Peterson at third RB, and that dude is totally good. I have no idea why he didn't play.

wait, by the 4th quarter wasn't he already personally responsible for several turnovers and the falling down sacks?

i dunno, his performance was rather frerottian.

Where does Rex Grossman rank amongst heroically suicidal QBs?

Rex Grossman's eyebrows are really well manicured. Historically so. I'm beginning to suspect part of the reason he's so hated is that it's subconsciously obvious to his detractors that he's probably playing for the other team.

Through three quarters, he was 10 of 14 for 71 yards with 1 TD, 1 lost fumble, 1 sack (on another fumble). It wasn't beautiful, but it was hardly awful. 10 of 14 for 71 yards is pretty pathetic in terms of yards/completion, but he wasn't hurting them.

In the fourth quarter, he actually was pretty okay apart from two of the worst passes in the history of the NFL. Other than that he was 10 of 12 for 165 yards!

Also, his passes always look horrible. He was one of the worst deliveries in the NFL, I think. Every pass looks like a duck coming out of his hand.

I've said it before; I'll say it again:

I hope that Grossman isn't playing for the other team, I thought gay guys were supposed to be well dressed and witty, like Strahan and Brady.

i don't really see grossman as a rypien type. rypien was a mad bomber type...don't really see those too often these days.

Just to clarify: I wasn't implying anything about RG's sexuality; just that he's the bitch of almost any decent rush, including Arizona's.

And to his credit, that pic clearly shows him hanging onto the ball.

Blaming Rex Grossman for Bears' loss misses point

OK far as I can tell, the point of this column is: you can't blame Rex Grossman for losing the game, because Rex Grossman played in it.

yeah, goddamn that kyle orton, having the audacity to get injured...?

i don't get it.

Wow, I mean what if you extend that logic..."Don't blame the Lions for losing because they are the Lions."

in fairness to andy reid, great ideas get lost in his monstrous appetite for small children. they actually created a "campbell's homestyle small children stew" especially for the big fella.

Rex is so frustrating because he will make some great throws. Then it's like he suddenly remembers, "Hey I'm Rex Grossman!" and chucks one three feet behind the receiver.

would've been a great fit for sure. the 3 pro teams rex took reg season snaps for is a great trivia question.
