in any even these were pretty okay I guess, i really liked 2 chaaaainz, he had a good mix of dopey NY punchlines ("my credit card is black and proud" !!) and laid back southern swagger. and the MMG one was pretty good, if only for meek mill shouting out gunplay

As for rapper qua rapper... whatever, I don't particularly feel like splitting hairs in that way atm. Best "rap artist" it w/e is fine with me. Altho plenty of ppl including myself have memorized rick ross verses. i think that's a good analogy, and just like these freestyles, no one really thinks it would work on the radio. not that people don't want to hear a great verse or a great guitar solo within the context of a hit, but pointed chops showcases like these makes for better internet videos than pop music.
