imo childish gambino is almost worse than mac miller in that his shallow lil wayne imitations and shrill shoutiness is considered to be somehow "good rapping" while mac is more general fun/party stuff. def watch for this dude to claim an important place in the fratrap contiuum

That's what bugs me about Mac, the point in his career when he started using Wiz Khalifa as a blueprint is obvious, and that sort of cynical persona-switching never sits well with me.

mac miller at least he doesn't have any pretenses about his rap ability, and i think most frat boys can see that. cg's going through all the motions to sound like a rapper in 6'7" or look at me now, but has none of the ability to back it up
