As a gay male living in a big city, I could find sex literally almost any time, any day I want, but semi- to fully-anonymous hookups have become worse than nothing at all. Unfortunately, over the last year I have found exactly ZERO opportunities for anything even remotely intimate or not-empty.

I've given up hope for romance, but it would be nice to have something that wasn't just a mutual release of biological urges.

Anyway, 5 months. There was a drought of 6 months before that, broken by a cloudburst from getting so drunk that I was able to pretend I liked the guy long enough to mess around.

anything with 11s is some asskicking bad luck. i have eternal hope for all in 2012.

18 months now, I think. My roommate thinks I must be chomping at the bit, but I don't really miss sex in and of itself. I've passed on casual opportunities, I don't see the drought breaking unless I meet anyone I feel like dating.

Three day weekend visit has turned into six days.

I've climbed exactly once and it was difficult and really amazing. Made the mistake of starting lessons in November at an outdoor wall, so I really lost all motivation. But it was exciting and I am going to give it another shot.

I saw an episode of Blind Date where the couple went to a climbing lesson. The instructor brazenly hit on the woman while the guy was trying to climb and actually left him dangling while he finished talking to her. The guy on the date found the instructor's harness-accentuated bulge threatening.

hoping mine is coming to a close. have met someone I am interested in who seems to be returning said vibes. (ok, actually this is someone I've known for over a year, but have only noticed in 'that way' recently). really though idc so much about the sex part as much as having someone I care about in my life.

approaching slowly for now. I think there's mutual attraction, but my brain is still kind of scrambled atm and I hear it's been a while since her last relationship, so maybe just ease into it for both of us.
