ever?

huh, that is not how my pediatrician handled it -- we went in and said she'd been coughing for six weeks, and she wrote us a prescrip. is there a reason they're cutting back?

my kid is four, we have never given her any antibiotics. doctors at Kaiser won't do it, even if we had asked.

her cough lasted about 4 weeks, it's gone now.

eleven years pass...

I'm on one now going on 10 days. I don't care during the day, but it's wrecking my sleep to the extent that taking three medications, gobbling tablespoons of honey, and sucking on eucalyptus cough drops buys me an hour of sleep here and there in between the rollercoaster of stifling coughs with every breath. This sucks.

Since a bout of flu in 2016 my throat has been unusually sensitive to post-nasal drip but all my normal methods of dealing with this are for nought.

i had an adenoid infection once that was pretty mild but for some reason the postnasal drip took months to clear up.

what helped the most was swallowing the postnasal drip instead of clearing my throat or spitting it out (i know, kinda gross and also you're probably doing that already). secondarily, Neil Med Sinus Rinse. there's a video on their website or on YT that shows how to use it. hope it clears up soon!
