it is a mashed potato ball stuffed with ground beef, onions and spices that has been fried. a good snack

this is the "banana dumpling" mentioned above. i think it is made with plantain though. it is a very soft dough whatever it is, and it's stuffed with ground pork, onions and spices before taking it's turn in the fryer. also a great snack

this is very similar to empanada. it is a flaky crust enclosing just a bit of ground beef, onions and spices. also a great snack.
