Hart is the best England gk in many years and possibly world class but not best in the world.
England looked good for about 20mins but I assume that's it for the tournament now.

nah that seems fair but partly cos our goalkeeping standards have declined. unsighted or not you don't get beat on yr near post like that.

Not a greatly entertaining match so far tbh. Sloppy from both sides, France disappoint me.

England play a pretty good passing game when they're moving the ball through the midfield from the srtikers back to the defenders.

Disappointed with France tbh. They're not very good.

Both teams are well matched, neither look likely on this evidence to reach a semi-final.

tbf i thought the first half was good, the second was miserable. i think some combination of welbeck, ox, young, henderson, wilshere, cleverly etc could combine england's first nice passing move in 2014

sorry MW but anything I felt towards Macca at the end has been replaced by white-hot loathing of Alexi Lalas being argumentative with Ballack & Martinez when both were criticizing England's tactics

Dunno how England can be dissatisfied with that really, but I'd worry about the Ukraine game. Was a bit like a mediocre Premiership game.
Neither team is getting beyond the second round.
