dmr, I've been digging your mix this week. Thanks! The Units track is new to me, gonna have to track that one down (just the edit I guess, now I see the LP with the original on is $287.50 on gemm).

This thread is full of great mixes, so I feel guilty not thanking more people, but I'd be here all week if I listed every one I've enjoyed, plus there are more with intriguing tracklistings that I missed or haven't got round to yet.

so, uh, my friend and i are about to embark on some DJ night sort of thing, which is pretty unlike me because i actually hate the whole "i'm a DJ" thing, but we decided we'd better get together some sort of sampler for it. so then we decided we'd probably just go ahead and make it sound more or less like it's going to sound like in real life, which is totally amateurish and full of obvious tracks and with lots of sloppy playing around with faders and stuff. so sorry this is so raw, this is basically just a PA of us fucking around for an hour or so with no attempt to make the eq palatable or anything like that. if you're paying attention i think you can catch a couple of missed cues on the crossfader and about three trainwrecks.

anyway this is just basically the music i listen to on a daily basis and i figured i'd better put my money where my mouth is since i'm one of the more obnoxious posters on the forum. this was done on serato btw so excuse the 128 bitrate mp3s.

yeah i'm pretty sure it's supposed to be at 33, but you're right the guitar stuff can sound a bit rushed, but I actually pitched it up from 45 a bit to beatmatch. i have a few other records by them and i always screw with the pitch a lot cuz i can never tell what its supposed to be.
