Atlas Shrugged: Part I was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on November 8, 2011 by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.[26] More than 100,000 DVD inserts were recalled within days due to the jacket's philosophically incorrect description of "Ayn Rand’s timeless novel of courage and self-sacrifice."[27]

The small but perfectly-stocked food section of Harvey Nichols has a particularly fine wine department. Wines range from relatively inexpensive to the highest levels, e.g Château Latour, vertical ranges of Petrus, Vega Sicilia, etc. They are still remarkably good value in context, e.g. 1990 Krug Clos de Mesnil 1990, arguably the greatest Champagne ever made and incomparably finer than the footballer's wildly overrated Crystal is about £150 cheaper than usually quoted elsewhere.

the examples of antanaclasis made me lol.

A famous example of antanaclasis is seen in William Shakespeare's Henry V when the King sends the French ambassadors back to their master with an answer to the insulting gift of tennis-balls. He says, "for many a thousand widows/ Shall this his mock mock out of their dear husbands; Mock mothers from their sons, mock castles down;" (HENRY V, I, ii, 284-286)
Shakespeare also employed antanaclasis in Hamlet, when Polonius doles out advice to his daughter, Ophelia: "Tender yourself more dearly...or...you'll tender me a fool." (Hamlet, I, iii, 107-110)
Later in Hamlet, as Hamlet watches the gravedigger, he speculates on the possible former identities of the remains being removed from the grave: "This fellow might be in's time a great buyer of land, with his statutes, his recognizances, his fines, his double vouchers, his recoveries: is this the fine of his fines, and the recovery of his recoveries, to have his fine pate full of fine dirt?" (HAMLET, V, i, 103-108) In this instance we see "fine" used in four separate ways and "recovery" used in two.

On July 18, 1983, Mercyful Fate started recording at Easy Sounds Studios in Copenhagen for the next 13 days with producer Henrik Lund, who was the co-owner of the studio along with his brother. The band asked Henrik to produce the album, and he was paid $1000 by the record company. Even though the band had more time than when they did the first EP, time was precious and by chance, the band knew the songs very well before entering the studio and made it very quickly. They had to plan and calculate right as they had less than two weeks to record and mix the whole thing, so they really had not much time fooling around. It was an interesting challenge to prove to themselves they could do it. While Henrik was mixing the album, the band were not allowed in the room; they had to wait outside the door, leaving him alone. He then had to come out, telling the band to come in listening to the mix he just have done. Then, when the band had comments, like putting less guitar or whatever, they had to leave again, waiting outside the door once more, waiting for him to do another mix, then come in again with more comments; the band found it very irritating. On the other hand, as Hank now recalls, it was wise on his part because with experience, you realize that too many people in the mixing room is not a good idea because everybody wants their own instrument louder or whatever, and that's probably why Henrik wanted to be left alone doing the mixing. When came the time to do the lead vocals, Henrik found it pretty different from what he used to know, as King brought a little altar in the studio, and some red lights as there was a specific feeling he wanted to create. It was a little spooky, and at first, when Henrik heard the lyrics, he was quite perplexed about it. After talking with King, and seeing everything was so natural for King, it was fine. At that time, the label asked the band to do a cover song, so the band tried Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song. The band skipped it because they felt it was not working very well. According to Hank, King's vocals were very surprising; it came really close to Robert Plant, so much that you could trick a lot of people into thinking it was actually Led Zeppelin.

His novels typically deal with relationship problems, emotional dramas and the traumas of men and women in our time. He describes his writing as 'Men lit', this is typical of Parsons as he is the kind of pompous cockney idiot to describe his poorly written books as this.

That, incidentally, is why the Monkees album Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. used Davy's last name instead of his astrological sign. "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Capricorn" wouldn't have sounded right....

"Taste of India" is a song by American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was released in 1997 on the band's 12th studio album Nine Lives. It was released as a promotional single to rock radio, where it peaked at #3 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1998. The song was written by lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, and songwriter Glen Ballard. The song, which clocks in at just under six minutes, contains elements of Indian music throughout, along with driving guitar riffs and a heavy backbeat, as well a sarangi intro by Ramesh Mishra. Joe Perry and Brad Whitford both play Stratocasters on this song.

The band stated they got the idea for this song by walking past a restaurant named "Taste of India".

The album's cover is a now iconic photo of a man being punched in the face. The photo for the album cover was shot by photographer Brad Guice, he also shot the photo for the Cowboys from Hell cover.[5] The band told their label that they wanted something vulgar, like a dude getting punched.[5] The first version of the cover that the label brought to the band showed a boxer with a punching glove, but the band didn't like it so the label did a second version showing a man being punched.[5] According to Vinnie Paul, the man on the cover was paid $10 a punch and was hit in the face 30 times to get the right picture.[5] Brad Guice stated that the man on the cover, who was named Sean Cross, was never actually hit.[5]

"Excuse Me Miss" is a song written and performed by American rapper Jay-Z. It released as a single for his seventh studio album The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse (2002). It was also co-written and produced by The Neptunes, whose Pharrell sings the hook in falsetto voice. The lyrics refer to love at first sight. It contains a more mature sound in comparison of his previous songs about women such as "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)". Jay-Z sampled the 2001 hit, "Take You Out" by the late musician Luther Vandross. "Mista Hova" as he called himself also loaned a Notorious B.I.G hook from his song "Big Poppa" for this song own hook.

There is a scene where Richie asks Eddie if it is so good to get his feet up. Eddie responds with "No, I'm not that pervy", with Richie saying "Are you not?". In an out-take (seen on the Bottom Fluff video), Edmondson says "No. Do you know... I've forgotten my next line...!". In the next take, he forgets to say "no", and it looks as if Eddie ignored Richie's question.
Eddie says that he is going to write to his MP, Tony Blair. Blair was MP for the constituency of Sedgefield, County Durham. Since Bottom is set in Hammersmith, London, it is impossible that he is their MP so this might be a play on their ignorance of life.
When Richie is enacting the introduction to his daytime discussion programme, he trips on trailing cables and falls down the stairs. However, although he is wearing an navy blue jeans coupled with a navy suit jacket at the time, the stunt double is clearly wearing light blue jeans. Once Richie is stuck in the toilet, he is wearing the correct colour jeans again.
Whilst setting up the VCR, Eddie announces that he will be connecting the scart socket to the lank connector. However, neither of these wires are actually attached to the VCR, rendering the action useless.

Hungryalists and Krittibas

There is a misconception that the Hungryalists and the Krittibas group were the same and that the KRITTIBAS magazine was a Hungryalist platform. This is incorrect. KRITTIBAS was a group from the fifties. The Hungryalist movement was a sixties decade phenomenon. Krittibas magazine in its editorial had openly declared that they have no relations with the movement and that they do not approve of the philosophy of the movement. Hungryalist platforms were ZEBRA, CHINHO, PRATIDWANDI, UNMARGO and WASTE PAPER.

In the lyrics, the singer asks listeners if they have "been close to tragedy" necessitating "a strength most don't possess". The singer says while he has not faced such a daunting situation himself, he "know(s) someone who has" and makes the understatement that he is "sure it isn't good." The singer also expresses doubts about his own mettle and wonders how he would perform in such a situation himself. While stating "I like to think that if I was I would pass" he confesses "I'm afraid of what I might find out."

The opening line of the chorus states "I never had to knock on wood," and it may be more accurately rendered as "I never had to...(knock on wood)" referring to something that the singer has never had to do (i.e. face a huge crisis) and utilizing the superstitious phrase "knock on wood" which is said in the hopes that a good thing will continue to occur after it has been acknowledged.

Similarly, the mid-chorus lyrics "It makes me wonder if I never had to knock on wood" are more easily understood with the insertion of ellipsis and other punctuation, i.e. "it makes me wonder if I...? Never had to... (knock on wood)."

The lyrics have been interpreted by some to be in reference to AIDS, and the anticipation of blood results, but the group's official website denies this.

It went multi-platinum and became one of Eazy-E's most popular recordings. Eazy-E was originally intending to release a follow up to Eazy-Duz-It named Temporary Insanity. However, after the several insults Dr. Dre made in The Chronic, Eazy-E decided to release this album. Dr. Dre is mentioned on every track except "Gimmie That Nutt" and "Boyz N Tha Hood (G-Mix)".The album went success and was in the charts for 500 weeks.
