I have no idea!!!

did you like paris?

crosspost but it's OK

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 28 March 2004 22:59 (twenty years ago) link

I love paris but there wasn't much of paris in the film.

I guess it was interesting just not heartbreaking plus a touch obvious and didactic. and the guy's (the 'big brother' cypher) the guy's big voice was irritating.

some nice touches though. there was a guy before the film who talked about godard, did you get him at 'une femme est une femme'?

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:02 (twenty years ago) link

yes, we had him. before and after. I kind of wish he hadn't but he seemed nice.

it's all paris, btw!!!

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:03 (twenty years ago) link

haha outside is different from inside.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:04 (twenty years ago) link

I don't think you understand...

haha.

do you want to go to paris, on wednesday?

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:10 (twenty years ago) link

O I'd love to but I'm going to see 'the passion'.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:29 (twenty years ago) link

dude paris is where the passion is

ken c (ken c), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:32 (twenty years ago) link

my friend, kate, was going with her friend but her friend got hit by a car.

: /

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 28 March 2004 23:32 (twenty years ago) link

glasgow should have an FAP.

I met jed (colin) in the street and he talked to paul buchanan. it was all very exciting.

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 30 March 2004 17:18 (twenty years ago) link

It is now April. I hear Tracer is around.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:03 (twenty years ago) link

was paul buchanan who the buchanan street was named after? if not who was he?

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:13 (twenty years ago) link

or who IS he, even (i didn't kill him!! honest)

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:13 (twenty years ago) link

He's the Blue Nile dude, dude

Dadaismus (Dada), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:15 (twenty years ago) link

... and, yes, Buchanan Street was named after him and Nile Street after his band

Dadaismus (Dada), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:15 (twenty years ago) link

and that's why the street has those weird blue lights!!! it all makes sense now

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:20 (twenty years ago) link

... and you can only walk down it if you're wearing a "Hat"

Dadaismus (Dada), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:21 (twenty years ago) link

you've lost me now

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:22 (twenty years ago) link

A Hat is recommended as Tinseltown is often in the Rain

Dadaismus (Dada), Thursday, 8 April 2004 10:23 (twenty years ago) link

Why is there a West Nile Street, but not an East Nile Street? There should be a Blue Nile Street.

I saw someone on the underground today that looks like what I think I remember Tracer Hand looking like in photos. But it probably wasn't him at all.

ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 8 April 2004 16:00 (twenty years ago) link

I didnae hear no-one that soonded like ye, wee Ailsa, on yon POPMASTER.

the bluefox, Thursday, 8 April 2004 16:02 (twenty years ago) link

That is rubbish.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 16:04 (twenty years ago) link

I told you on the other thread. I have a job. And I hate Richard Allinson. And I am scared of being foolish on the radio.

I HOPE SO

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:02 (twenty years ago) link

When are we going out, with Tracer Hand?

Not Saturday. Everyone is going to The Winchester Club on Saturday. AREN'T THEY?

Maybe Saturday.

Ally C (Ally C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:03 (twenty years ago) link

He left me a message, I left him a message. Will M. be able to get him into her show tomorrow if he wants to come?

He is offering a party on Saturday. The Winchester's not offering that, is it?

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:06 (twenty years ago) link

QUEEN BITCH

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:07 (twenty years ago) link

Uh, maybe. Not sure.

Yes, it is. And so much more.

Ally C (Ally C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:08 (twenty years ago) link

I asked m. to put his name down, if she could (she's already put down cozen's!!), and she said she would, if she could.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:09 (twenty years ago) link

Well he's around next week too, anyway. Let's just not make him go to the sodding Hubbards quiz, eh?

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:10 (twenty years ago) link

OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS

Mooro (Mooro), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:10 (twenty years ago) link

thank you, RJG.

haha I think tracer hates me. so this could get interesting!

cozen (Cozen), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:10 (twenty years ago) link

this could get boring.

I can't believe it.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:12 (twenty years ago) link

it's already boring. so etc

cozen (Cozen), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:12 (twenty years ago) link

Tracer put a question mark after your name when he was listing people he'd like to meet, cozen, but I don't think he meant anything by it.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:14 (twenty years ago) link

was david bowie on his list?

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:17 (twenty years ago) link

No, but David Bowie was.

Ally C (Ally C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:18 (twenty years ago) link

how do you pronounce 'howie'?

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:19 (twenty years ago) link

with a 'b'?

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:19 (twenty years ago) link

I had never thought how ridiculous Howie's name was until just then.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:19 (twenty years ago) link

haha!

can we play football at some time?

you're another one, dastoor.

(ps, I read something you wrote in papercuts and then watched 'wonderland'. I think you're largely right.)

cozen (Cozen), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:20 (twenty years ago) link

wait, you gave him a list?

cozen (Cozen), Thursday, 8 April 2004 17:21 (twenty years ago) link
