Steamed Asparagus

Wash and trim asparagus
Wrap in wet paper towel and place in microwave safe plate.
Microwave for 3-4 minutes.
Use that time in whatever way you see fit.

I guess my point is that microwaves are great.

Also, you don't have to heat up the entire oven just for one or two potatoes.
