Dear Soulless Drones: When you spend money on my art, you're not paying for something that matters to you (like a cool novel, painting or song). You're paying for something that matters to me: me. Me experimenting, me failing, me worrying about money, me having me time to do me things. Only wild free spirits encounter these things. Fork it over. - rebekah joy plett

*rant about how it's often the urban planners who encourage communities to start farmer's markets and make space for urban farming and how we can't rely on our local grocery stores to provide fresh produce to food deserts and how the good supermarkets won't move to those areas cuz there's not enough money so it's a MARKET FAILURE and the government does have to step in, thank you*

Pretty sure it's libertarian.
I'm assuming that the person doesn't mean the five best sentences grammatically, because those are five of the grammatically worst sentences I've read. It's a shame that such wonderful ideas have to be brought down by questionable literary merit.

It's five sentences of "wealth redistribution is evil illogical immoral and ruinous" , how could that be communist?
― ledge, Tuesday, 4 September 2012 21:38 (eleven years ago) link
Um, yeah. I'm a bit confused about how the hell you can read any of that as even slightly Commie. It's pretty much the antithesis.

the one sentence is legit accidentally a communist sentiment
since it's the basis of labor theory of value + exploitation

oh lol my brain was rewriting the implied "welfare queen" as underpaid laborers and the "lazy ppl" as rich ruling class
i am naive, i keep assuming people don't still believe this shit, fuck a reagan
― NASCAR, surfing, raising chickens, owning land (zachlyon), Tuesday, 4 September 2012 22:22 (eleven years ago) link
or rather rewriting both as rich ruling class and then the non-lazy people as laborers
i dunno i'm confused now, why does it have to be so many sentences

isn't taxation of the rich etc. pretty much dwarfed by the government's potential ability to create wealth as if by magic by borrowing money and spending it on infrastructure
