I debated whether to talk to him, but then everyone in the Woody decided to queue jump by being his mate, so I decided not to bother and stood silently fuming instead. Then bought four Bacardi Breezers so I didn't have to go and queue ever again. I hate NPL bar queues.

I am at work. I have to be at work tomorrow as well. At eight. It is going to take mucho booze to persuade me to go to the Castle :((((

Oh gosh, I'm really sorry! I didn't recognise you. Sorry about the queue jumping, I think that was a friend's camp work mates turning up. That queue was bad though, especially when it was so hot. I went to Optimo a couple of weeks ago and that was like a Sauna, but this was possibly even worse.
We ended up going to a party afterwards where that old guy with glasses who does amazing interpretative dancing was at. He's called Andrew and has written most of the staff recommendations on the first floor of the Sauchie Hall St branch of Waterstones.
I saw Dahlin on the dancefloor but didn't get a chance to chat to her. I did talk to Mr Dahlin though.

I need to work on my drunk skillz. I would love to be a comedy and entertaining drunk, but I'm a maudlin and grumpy old sod.

Grimly was so entertainingly drunk that he singlehandedly managed to convince my husband that not all mentalists are actually mentalists. The mister was all "S1mon ROCKS! He's excellent". Normally he's "your friend are all off the internet. LOSER!!", but somehow he's now been convinced that this is, in fact, an OK thing.

I'm not sure how one conversation with a very drunk bloke is more important evidence than, you know, the fact that he's known all my perfectly normal internet mentalist companions for ages.

I'm sorry I didn't come. I just felt too damn sober after leaving work at 12 to enter a world of drunkenness.

As it is my birthday on Tuesday, would Glasgow like to come out with me on Friday, for celebrations? I want to go to the Konaki on Sauchiehall St because it is my favourite restaurant ever, but then we could go somewhere else afterwards to meet up with non-Greek-eaters. It is quite near Stereo, but I kind of hate Stereo. It is also quite near The Tap, which has just been painted black, but I don't know whether that means it is any better than ever before. Still, who wants to come to the Konaki?

I am not working this week at all so I can come out any night (not Tuesday itself as I will be watching Celtic being humiliated by a bunch of under-rated kids from Slovakia). We are currently trying to get away somewhere on some sort of cheap last minute type thing, but it's not happening as cheaply as I'd like. If I am here when you go out, then I will be there. If you see what I mean.

I like Thursdays. I probably won't want to stay out too late, for anyone that has a job to go to Friday. Madchen said she will have finished her conference and may be in a party mood Thursday, anyway. I might miss Question Time, but at least I won't miss the BB eviction...

Last night; Simon was having a nice time. We actually went to The Garage. I'm not sure exactly how bad it was, but it wasn't exactly good. But RJG's arm danced. And we found a flapjack girl.
