my guess is this thread barely scratches the surface of the world of horrible macros

is that what these are called? macros? cos to me a macro is a thing in microsoft word.

they are, but I don't understand why. I don't see what the link is between these and macros as commonly understood in computer programming talk.

before learning about how these macros are automated, I actually imagined that the images were sculpted bit by bit out of a raw block of fresh pixels.

I keep trying different keyboard shortcuts, but none of them put treacly gibberish into stock photos.
