Are you talking about the guy from Charlotte who would improvise his own horrible raps, complete with his own horrible beat-boxing? He brought his cellphone onto the broadcast once, daring his "chicken" news director to call him.

Yeah, that's the guy! He sobered up and got a new job in ... Grand Junction, CO. There was just something captivating about his particular conception of humor, which was simultaneously totally corny and totally guyish -- something about the total drunken confidence that he was in fact being charming and lovable. It's really kind of incredible, a live weather broadcast that feels exactly like getting trapped at a party by the worst dude possible.
