off the top of my head, king gizzard, dick diver, terry, rolling blackouts, salad boys (they are from nz but i alway lump em in anyway) are some of the other australian bands putting out great tunes. there's a great thread on ilm somewhere that I don't have time to find but it covers a lot of this territory.
