Gucci has been so locked into a single aesthetic on his last 9 mixtapes or w/e that some of this is really jarring.

it's an independent album so i don't think it's possible to 'bury' it -- they're just tossing it out when they feel like without much advance hype, like a mixtape

i swore off checking out new gucci/bricksquad a while back because the diminishing returns and volume of output made it all feel like a waste of time, but if this actually doesn't sound exactly like all his other recent stuff i will have to at least give it a listen
