what's glasgow's best building?

what's on Sauciehall street? Did there used to be a Saucy hall there?

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 24 August 2005 21:53 (eighteen years ago) link

sauchiehall street is the name of Ivor Cutler's pet cow.

I want to be on a pastel with Stephen Panel too.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Thursday, 25 August 2005 10:38 (eighteen years ago) link

awww poor michael. happy birthday lovey!

dahlin (dahlin), Thursday, 25 August 2005 10:38 (eighteen years ago) link

Hurrah for aldo's work meaning I don't have to raid the petty cash tin at work for booze money on Monday! My pub suggestion = not the Drum and Monkey (non-smoking now, innit, so opportunities to laugh at lapsed ex-smokers gagging for cigarettes limited) and not the Lansdowne because we've been there twice recently and it will bring back horrible memories of (1) being stalked by the paparazzi and (2) the Artmedia Bratislava horrorshow.

Other than that, I have no idea. What about that Station Bar place near grimly fiendish's work?

ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 25 August 2005 17:29 (eighteen years ago) link

I think I might be an asshopper.

enough talking, more grapes

Adam In Real Life (nordicskilla), Thursday, 25 August 2005 19:24 (eighteen years ago) link

Glasgow, YOU DECIDE.

The three nights I actually need to be there (Mon, Tue, Wed) I can't get out of evening activities. So, I need to extend by one night:

Which is better for you lot - Sunday 4th or Thursday 8th? I'm able to do either, and have no real preference. Sorry for the school nights, not much I can do about that.

(A prompt decision would be nice, so I can book flights/hotel)

Hello Katrina!

RJG, Cabbage's hair is looking a bit bushy too.

jed is so shy he never comes out in public! some of us aren't sure he really exists!
and my vote is for THURSDAY

dahlin (dahlin), Friday, 26 August 2005 09:10 (eighteen years ago) link

THURSDAY is my preferred option of the two, now I think about it.

I can't book it before Tuesday now, so any nay-sayers by then please.

I should note I WILL BE BRINGING ALL OF LOST for Gerry. Whether he is inclined to do them for other people (I've noticed Simon on the UK Lost thread) is between you. (I may be able to do another couple of sets with enough notice, however)

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 26 August 2005 11:48 (eighteen years ago) link

notifications, dahlin?

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:05 (eighteen years ago) link

why do you get them, dahlin?

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:05 (eighteen years ago) link

notifications for every post, dahlin?

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:06 (eighteen years ago) link

isn't that really annoying, dahlin?

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:06 (eighteen years ago) link

I think I'd be annoyed, dahlin.

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:07 (eighteen years ago) link

very few of these posts would be worth notification of, in my opinion, dahlin.

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:07 (eighteen years ago) link

I suppose it's up to you, though, dahlin!

RJG (RJG), Friday, 26 August 2005 12:07 (eighteen years ago) link
