feel like rob delaney's popularity mostly came out of him being in on the ground floor with all the "weird twitter" comedian types, willing to promote them etc., more than him actually being funny?

i understand that twitter is its own unique comedy medium blah blah but from what i've seen his standup is just shockingly bad

this is obv why the onion's twitter account is the crowning jewel of its media empire.

Nobody reads an onion article past the headline

mtv video game short attention span generation etc.

nah like 1 out of every 50 onion articles are worth reading from start to finish, most of them feel overly workshopped, best move they did was moving to that paragraph format, i actually do read the entire paragaraph (only sometimes)

anyone who thinks those feedbuzz articles are funnier than even the most average onion article is drunk

that site is literally a one-shot gag
