Karl should put Mozgov and Quincy Miller in just to complete the insanity

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 04:50 (eleven years ago) link

the cliff paul thing weirds me out. like so these twins were separated at birth. how? was one adopted? was the other raised by the birth-parents? were they both? did the birth-parents sue the hospital? why haven't the twins been looking for each other their whole lives? was there a cover-up? so many questions.

I guess what Evan Fournier did in his 6 minutes was unforgivable

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 05:07 (eleven years ago) link

Reggie again with the talk of Andre Miller's speed defensively

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 05:10 (eleven years ago) link

Damn! just finished the game. Pleasantly surprised for sure. Pretty much everyone played perfectly. Even Festus and R Jeff chipped in.

Curry with 30-5-13-3 with only one turnover

Nuggets hadn't lost at home since like January.

Wouldn't Chris Pauls mom realize that 1 of her identical twins is missing. What r the chances his last name is Paul as well. #StateFarmprobs

@ZachLowe_NBA:
Fun small sample size stat: Chris Andersen through 2 playoff games has a higher offensive rebounding rate than any team put up this season.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 12:10 (eleven years ago) link

Also many xps but Clips easily out pick-up game Rockets:

CP3 is the pg who probably plays for a really good AAU team and is just out there to work on his left hand and build chemistry/timing w/ his AAU teammate, BG
BG is the dude windmill dunking on you and whom you kinda wish weren't playing pick-up because you don't want to be responsible for fouling/injuring him in a meaningless game
DeAndre is the dude who just learned how to dunk
Jamal is the NBA avatar for every pick-up scorer ever

I had no idea that Martin had been considered such a bad locker room dude, although it's beginning to sound like he just didn't like/want a diminished role somewhere for the past few seasons? Could see that; otherwise, I'd always heard that he was a good teammate.

i don't think blake is ever gonna be a great post player, his limbs are too short, he has no length. i really wonder what will happen to his career as he ages and loses his explosiveness

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:01 (eleven years ago) link

blake has an incredibly quick first step out of the post, he'll be fine

he'll have been a 10-time all-star? i'm pretty sure the clippers will live with it.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:04 (eleven years ago) link

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. And you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy.

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:07 (eleven years ago) link

I don't really care about the clips, I just don't want to have to see amare 2

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:08 (eleven years ago) link

well if blake's knees disintegrate there's no one anyone can do about it

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:12 (eleven years ago) link

nothing*

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:12 (eleven years ago) link

otm, he has a hard time getting a shot up over the top (doesnt really need to at this stage in his career though). The best thing he can do for longevity is work on his 10-15 footers? But even there his shot is way too set-my-feet, line-up, tuck-elbow, bend-knees, cock-wrist, shoot, follow-through that I'm not sure he can ever improve there either.

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:13 (eleven years ago) link

yea - I wouldn't be so concerned but for 1) the way he throws his body and 2) his rookie season

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:13 (eleven years ago) link

amare had post game though, and developed a shot, and could shoot free throws. I always though he would make a good late career post player but he cant stay healthy.

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:14 (eleven years ago) link

and by good i mean contributing, like an antonio mcdyess type of role

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:15 (eleven years ago) link

yeah.. I made the comparison because amare was that other dude who just whammed on everybody when he was you g, had such a quick jump.

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:16 (eleven years ago) link

amare would still be balling except his knees were medically defective, it's not really a good comparison

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:24 (eleven years ago) link

rip amare

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:25 (eleven years ago) link

well even when he has played minutes hes clearly lost that step and that jump, how much of that is due to medical defect and how much is due to age, i d k

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:26 (eleven years ago) link

like it seems to me so much of blakes game is dependent on that 40 inch vert which also gives him that quick first step

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:26 (eleven years ago) link

it's all his knees, over the last few years when amare's felt good he's played great

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:26 (eleven years ago) link

all i'm saying is i care about blake as a ~person~ and i wish him the best

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:27 (eleven years ago) link

yeah i'm gonna chalk that one up to "knees so bad that the knicks couldn't even get his contract ensured"

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:27 (eleven years ago) link

― 乒乓, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 11:26 AM (8 seconds ago)

ok but he's going to have this until he's 30

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:27 (eleven years ago) link

yeah i mean this argument is dumb

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:27 (eleven years ago) link

any insanely athletic player is gonna have a game based pretty strongly on that athleticism, and over time they add to their game (prime example being lebron). it's not like blake griffin is gonna walk out onto the court one day at age 30 and be like "oh no i can't dribble past this 22 year old guarding me, how will i ever score"

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:30 (eleven years ago) link

Blakes Kia commercials are still good btw, havent got tired of them yet

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:31 (eleven years ago) link

well i'm just saying that i have real doubts as to whether he'll be able to add to his game beyond his leaping

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:38 (eleven years ago) link

he's been in the league for only three years and raised his TS% every year, by all accounts is not lazy etc

seems very presumptive to me

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2013 15:50 (eleven years ago) link

kenneth faried got a second-place vote for DPOY

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 18:00 (eleven years ago) link

steph was awesome last night, his release just looks so effortless

is harrison barnes the jeff green of golden state? he looked amazing at times

never thought this would happen but uh karl got outcoached a little by ol hand down man down
