haha, the best thing about bad comic strips are the brilliant references to them on The Simpsons.

Most the newspaper comics are horrid outside Boondocks and Fox Trot.

Oh, let's not even go there. Talk about a plethora of mediocrity...

But the most evil and unfunny of them all is "Cathy". She probably set feminism back twenty years with her preoccupation with her weight and getting a man. She is like a badly drawn Bridget Jones.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press used to run Cathy and Sylvia right next to each other. Reading them one right after the other was like watching Mrs. Poole from The Hogan Family getting a piledriver from Suzy.
