I agree. But they seem relatively equal opportunity shitty for a change.

Official Derrick Stafford just forced Spoelstra to call a timeout because he was standing on court calling a play. Never seen that.

Huh. I thought a coach on the court was a tech. I guess Stafford gave him an option or something? Weird.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:43 (ten years ago) link

Refs foul calling has been impetuous, Pacers D impregnable.

FFS THIS IS A T. Spo one of the worst offenders here, too.

WHAT THE FUCK

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:47 (ten years ago) link

fucking scandalous

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:47 (ten years ago) link

Although tbh I like that call. Refs missing the ball clanking the rim there was a much worse call.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:48 (ten years ago) link

"missing"

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:49 (ten years ago) link

shot clock guy should be fired btw

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:50 (ten years ago) link

these refs are terrorists

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:50 (ten years ago) link

I try to tell people that NBA officiating is actually not that bad ffs

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:52 (ten years ago) link

I mean this is being officiated like it's the D team calling bobcats-sixers in february

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:53 (ten years ago) link

still better than college refs, but that's not saying much.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 02:54 (ten years ago) link

wow that lebron flop

would the NBA even exist without Joey Crawford

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:01 (ten years ago) link

this game has been so weird

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:02 (ten years ago) link

Wow Heat should've gone at Lance there.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:07 (ten years ago) link

ruh roh

oh shit 6 on bron

omg

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:11 (ten years ago) link

does the inevitable upcoming wade double-pump 3 even catch rim? quick poll

erase this game from the earth's memory

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:13 (ten years ago) link

None of these refs should work another playoff game.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:14 (ten years ago) link

Nope but he gets fouled -> nails all fts.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:14 (ten years ago) link

one more call for the refs to blow!

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:15 (ten years ago) link

heh

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:15 (ten years ago) link

and they did blow it.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:16 (ten years ago) link

ugh

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:16 (ten years ago) link

LOL wade

hahahaha "is that a walk, it's difficult to tell"

what is this nonsense

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:18 (ten years ago) link

Batman!

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:18 (ten years ago) link

I can't believe they were doubting the travel call.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:20 (ten years ago) link

wade has become maybe my least favorite baller

Clay, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:20 (ten years ago) link

Zach Lowe ‏@ZachLowe_NBA 58s
Lt. Frank Drebin available to officiate Game 5.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:21 (ten years ago) link

Imagine how tough this series would be for the heat if they had trouble with big guys!

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:23 (ten years ago) link

matt, do you think the pacers are going to win the series?

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:32 (ten years ago) link

not really but great question jord

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:34 (ten years ago) link

Heat outrebounded 49-30 (not why they lost tho)

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:34 (ten years ago) link

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:40 (ten years ago) link

refs should just call technicals for shit like that

the flopping aspect of this series is so hilarious

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:45 (ten years ago) link

cute move coming on the heels of those flopping comments. xp

Clay, Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:46 (ten years ago) link

i hope someone puts together a top 10 flops from this series compilation

They'd be much more legit if they had Granger as 6th man right now. Curious to see how they handle it next year.

J0rdan I know you think playing the Heat by pounding inside / relying on inside-outside game is actually the right strategy rather than pounding it inside, but please take into account 1) Pacers have plenty of bruisers who are great in the post, and 2) Ps might be the worst collection of passers/ballhandlers to ever make it this deep. Against a Heat team w/ two of the best passing-lane defenders / freelance defenders in the NBA. And barely any low-post presence. This really isn't a difficult call.

ヽ(´ー`)┌ (CompuPost), Wednesday, 29 May 2013 03:49 (ten years ago) link

xps the double-flop in that gif is mesmerizing.
